Cutomize your blog.

Before reading this section you ensure that you own a blog already. Now its time to customize it. Here I represent some tips to customize your blog.

When you sign in your blogger account google directly promote you to the dashboard . here you can see setting page where you have to fix your blog as you want. In the Basic tab title your blog and don’t forget to give a brief description of it. I suggest a short line that describes the total thing. Next if you want google to list your blog select “yes”. If you select “no” your blog will no longer available to other google services. Then select “yes” in the” Let search engines find your blog?” otherwise search engine will not crawl your site.

Formatting tab contains the no. of your post that will be displayed in the home/ main page. I suggest 3-4 posts. Cause if you select 6-7 or more posts in the main page the home page will be so long. It can take long time to display perfectly while there’s a slower internet connection. On the other hand its looks odd. You can see that all famous co. web pages are not so long.

Comments section describes your comment settings. Personally I highly appreciate user’s comment. So I think I think if you want to share your thought , idea with your readers you should decorate your comment section as your demand.

Site feed tab is the most important tab. Here in the section Post feed redirect URL you have to write the url of your feed that you burnt by www.feedburner.com or any other sites so that all your post will redirect to that feed automatically. If you don’t have any don’t worry keep it blank. If you want to use third party ad code paste it to Post feed footer . Ads will be displayed in your feed for you.

Now your blog is ready to publish post. Go to POSTING tab. At first give a title to your post. My advice to publishers to write a short title. You can also put a link to this post also in LINK column. Write a post. Don’t forget to leave labels for this post. This helps to identify your particular post easily. In this section you also can edit html code of your post. Later if you wish you can edit your post anytime you want. You can moderate post comment in this section.

Now its time to customize layout tab. Page element tab shows a backside view of your page. You can add any gadget of your choice from various option. Just click add gadget. Remember that if you want to display product ads from google such as adsense you can also add it here as a gadget. I discussed briefly about adsense in another post. One thing important here that is in edit html tab. Here don’t forget to take a back up copy of your template code before doing any edit in it. And if you wish to change your current template you can do it in pick new template tab.

Creating a BLOG.

Creating a blog with google blogger account is so easy. There are simple 3 steps to get started with a brand new blog as well as a new horizon to discover a new techno world. Here i'm going to give you a link to have a fresh blog. But my advice is to take a step by step tour with me so that you can get a friendly blog as your demand.

In the first step you must have a google account. If you already have one simply sign in. If you don't have create one.

In the second step you have to name your blog. In this section you have to take a quick review to your ideas or thought

*why do you want this blog?

*what is the moto of this blog?

*what is content of your blog?

*what type of information are you going to provide?

After finishing a quick thought you take a selection of name that best fits to your blog content or subject. Remember a blog name doesn't carry you any special thing. But its a matter of your taste that your readers are certainly going to assume through your blog name. Lets take an example. Now you are reading in my blog which contain each and every information about blog and blogging. Every post in this blog is related to creating, customizing, making profitable of a blog. So, i just named it "BLOG"

In the 3rd step you have to select a template for your blog. just pick one that best fits your blog idea or content. Don't worry you can change your template anytime.

And after finishing all these steps smoothly your can declair yourself as a blog owner. Yes, you have done it.

Types of blog differ according to content and the way it is presented to people. So it is quite difficult to identify the types. However, I described here the traditional types of blog.

Personal type:
This is a traditional & common type. It describes the idea, thought, style of an particular individual. An individual can write here whatever S/he likes. It may be a poem, a story, a comment about anything, a political overview etc. Individual can determine whether S/he would share it with others or not. Sharing with others S/he can ensure participation of other people to the same log. So, its also a way to communicate with other people.

Corporate type:
This type of blog is specially for marketing, advertising or promoting a business product. People visit the web site and choose what they need. We can say it a business log also.

Asking type:
This type of blog answers questions. People ask here any question egarding their need through submission form provided in that blog or by their e-mail or by telephone. According to the question, this blog describes the real answer or solution.

Media type:
This type of blog provide entertainment elements. Such as video, audio, picture and other forms of entertainment .

According to Genre:
There are another types of blog such as depend on genre such as project blog, education blog, niche blog, fashion blog, political blog, travel blog etc.
